Rehabilitation Psychology

Overview

Rehabilitation psychology focuses on helping people cope with the emotional, behavioral, and psychological aspects of injury, illness, or disability. We support both patients and their families throughout the recovery process.

Our Approach

Psychologists meet with patients shortly after admission to assess emotional well-being, cognitive status, and readiness to participate in therapy. Your treatment may include counseling, education, and behavioral strategies to support adjustment and motivation.

What to Expect

Patients may participate in individual or family therapy, receive support for anxiety or depression, and learn practical tools to manage stress and promote healing. We coordinate sessions with your broader rehabilitation plan.
