Major Multiple Trauma

Overview

Inpatient major multiple trauma rehabilitation is designed for people recovering from multiple severe injuries — such as fractures, soft tissue damage, and internal organ trauma — often caused by serious accidents. Patients receive three or more hours of therapy per day under the supervision of a physiatrist, with 24/7 nursing and interdisciplinary team support. We focus on restoring physical, cognitive, and emotional function to help you regain independence and adapt to life after trauma.

Our Approach

We use a team-based, individualized approach that integrates physical recovery, emotional healing, and strategies for maintaining independence. Treatment plans are coordinated daily by our specialized rehabilitation team to address complex and overlapping needs.

What to Expect:

Patients will follow a structured therapy schedule with active input from their care team and involvement from their family or caregivers. Therapy goals are tailored to injury types and long-term needs, with early planning for discharge and reintegration into work, home, and community life.

Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan aimed at restoring function, confidence, and comfort. Therapy is structured around your goals and includes regular progress checks. Emotional health is integrated into your care. We begin planning for your return home early in your stay and arrange outpatient services as recovery progresses.
