Electrodiagnostics (EMG/NCS)

Overview

Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) help evaluate nerve and muscle function. These tests are used to diagnose conditions such as neuropathy, radiculopathy, or myopathy.

Our Approach

EMG/NCS studies are performed on-site by board-certified physiatrists. These tests support accurate diagnosis and inform rehabilitation plans by identifying the source of weakness, numbness, or pain.

What to Expect

The evaluation involves placing small electrodes on the skin and inserting a fine needle into muscles to measure electrical activity. Your results are shared with the referring physician or used to guide treatment recommendations.
