Cancer Rehabilitation

Overview

Cancer rehabilitation helps patients regain strength, function, and quality of life during and after cancer treatment.

Our Approach

Cancer and its treatment affect each person differently, so we tailor rehabilitation to meet your specific needs and goals. We collaborate with your oncology team to address symptoms such as fatigue, pain, and neuropathy, as well as musculoskeletal issues (such as limited range of motion or joint stiffness). We work closely with the UAB O’Neal Cancer Center to provide seamless care.

What to Expect

Here, you will progress through an individualized care plan built around your stage of treatment, needs, and goals. You may also receive specialty therapy to manage symptoms such as lymphedema, mobility impairments, and cognitive changes.
