Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Device Evaluation

Overview

Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device evaluations help patients with communication impairments find effective tools to express themselves. These tools range from simple picture boards to advanced speech-generating devices.

Our Approach

Speech-language pathologists work closely with patients, caregivers, and technology partners to assess communication needs and recommend the most appropriate AAC device. Our goal is to enhance your independence, participation, and quality of life.

What to Expect

Evaluations include hands-on trials of communication devices and strategies. We provide training for both patients and caregivers. We make custom recommendations based on your physical abilities, cognitive skills, and daily communication needs.
