Upper Extremity / Head and Neck Lymphedema

Overview

Lymphedema is a condition where fluid builds up in tissues due to damage or blockage in the lymphatic system — often caused by cancer treatment or surgery. It can lead to swelling, pain, and limited movement.

Our Approach

Certified lymphedema therapists provide complete decongestive therapy, including manual lymph drainage, compression wrapping, skin care education, and exercise.

What to Expect

Treatment may be delivered in individual sessions and includes education on self-management and use of compression garments or pumps. Therapy focuses on symptom reduction and long-term control.
